Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. Paquin, who was raised in Wellington however was born and raised in Winnipeg was first seen in the acting world in The Piano. Canadian-born New Zealand actor who won the Academy Award as a youngster in the category of Best Supporting actress for her role as the curious and sociable child of Holly Hunter's principal character in The Piano. Paquin was played as the title child in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre in the year 1996. She also played the title part for the role of the Queen in Fly Away Home, a movie from the same year.
