Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English roots. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children. Four come from her father's previous marriage. Family was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, this move was traumatic and she was unable to study English to the hope of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. She quit high school at 16 to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person to hire her as an experienced model.
